My Stories

The greatest stories ever written are found in the Bible and Miss Vicky is excited to share these stories with you! She hopes these true Biblical accounts will come alive for you so you can imagine being in the middle of the adventure. The stories on this site are designed primarily for children ages 3-10 but adults will enjoy them as well.

 

Vicky has been telling Bible stories for over 30 years.  Her first stories were given to children in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) as a children’s leader and later as children’s supervisor.  She has also taught women’s Bible studies for many years.

 

Vicky has her Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. While in college she took classes in Children’s Theater and Creative Dramatics where she organized children’s plays, training children how to express themselves on stage.

 

Miss Vicky and her husband, Brian, have been married for over 40 years and live in Southern California. They enjoy bicycling, camping and enjoying time together and with family. They have two children. Their son is in now in heaven.  Their daughter is married and lives in Southern California.  

 

Miss Vicky also loves gardening, bird watching, and enjoying her backyard. Even though she lives in the city, she is a country girl at heart! She gathers fresh eggs from her chickens, makes jams and jellies from the fruit in her orchard, and loves picking fresh veggies from her garden.   

 

About 30 years ago, Miss Vicky had the idea to tell Bible stories to a wider audience. She set up a telephone line where children would call and hear a Bible story every week. Today, she is sharing those stories online!
